DFM supplies rental vehicles to Call 24-7

Daimler Fleet Management is supplying claims management specialists Call 24-7 with 200-300 rental vehicles per month together with a fleet of 100 prestige vehicles under contract hire.

 

A major agreement for the daily rental supply of replacement vehicles for insurance claimants has been reached between Daimler Fleet Management  (DFM) and Call 24-7, leading claims management specialists that offer insurers a complete 24-hour service, 365 days a year.  

 

Call 24-7 processes an average of 95,000 claims per annum, and DFM will be supplying approximately 200 to 300 vehicles of all makes per month, equating to a monthly average of between 3,000 and 3,500 rental days. Continued requirements from claimants driving top-of-the-range vehicles have also prompted Call 24-7 to acquire its own 100-unit all-makes prestige fleet under 18-month contract hire agreements from DFM, providing an exceptionally comprehensive service to meet the demands of insurers and their policy holders.

Call24-7 operates a 220-seat call centre at Marple, near Stockport, with the latest technology and electronic linking to ensure rapid claims management.  The company fields a team of experienced motor insurance engineers and works with a network of approved body repair centres throughout the UK. Among its broad range of services, Call 24-7 offers immediate sanction and provision of courtesy vehicles. 

 

Jeremy Mills, DFM’s Operations Director, explained that DFM was able to offer a range of solutions to meet a wide diversity of short and medium term rental requirements.  “We are committed to assisting Call 24-7 in providing rapid and professional nationwide replacement vehicle delivery to insurance claimants,” he said.
