Can I buy my lease car before its contract end date?
A. Unfortunately, no purchase can be made until your company has officially terminated the agreement for your lease car.
How can I get a quote to buy my company car?
A. Every year DFM disposes of several thousands of vehicles as their contracts expire. Increasing numbers of these vehicles are being purchased by their previous drivers, who benefit from buying a quality used car with a proven history, at a highly competitive price. To purchase your company car, please fill out our web form or contact us on 0870 609 9911 and ask for the driver sales section approximately one month prior to the vehicle being returned. Please quote the vehicle registration number and estimated mileage at expiry. This will enable us to give you a quote on the value of your vehicle.
Are my family and friends allowed to buy my company car?
A. This is also a great opportunity for your family or friends to buy the vehicle you already know, with complete confidence that it's been well maintained and looked after. It takes the risk out of buying a used car and all our vehicles are offered at very competitive prices. For more details, contact our Driver Sales Team.
Do you offer a PCP scheme?
A. Our personal contract purchase (PCP) scheme offers you the opportunity to drive the vehicle of your choice, for the term of your choice, without assuming any residual value risk. Payment will be set at a fixed monthly cost so that you can budget in advance, without the usual little "surprises" associated with owning a car. You can take a personal contract on any term from 24 to 48 months, with a maximum mileage of 120,000 miles, which can include servicing and breakdown cover for a competitive monthly fee. At the end of the term you will have the option of returning the vehicle to DFM, buying it for an amount agreed at the outset or trading it in for another vehicle. To find out more, please view our PCP section.
Who can apply for your PCP scheme?
A. Our PCP scheme is open to private individuals from our corporate customers, subject to the relevant credit checks being undertaken and approved.
How do I arrange the collection of my vehicle at the end of the contract?
A. At the end of the contract the vehicle will be collected from you. The collection driver will complete (in your presence) a report for you to sign showing the condition of the vehicle. DFM will then use an independent assessor to inspect the vehicle to determine any costs for shortages or repairs necessary to ensure that the vehicle satisfies the condition criteria detailed in the BVRLA Fair Wear and Tear Guide.
